Biography - Nancy L. Daigneault

Nancy L. Daigneault was born in Montreal in 1970. In 1988, she moved to Victoria, British Colombia, where she stayed for 8 years. It is in Victoria , in 1995, that Nancy learned the secrets of the art of decorated eggs. She moved back to Montreal in 1996 where she developed her art independently.

The blooming of her passion for eggery pushed her towards a singular and personal exploration of this art. Nancy works with goose, ostrich, rhea and emu eggs. The eggshells, chiselled and carefully set on a base, are then transformed into jewelry bozes, music boxes, perfume bottles and evening bags. Each piece is unique and signed by the artist.

Innovative and inspired, Nancy already has several creations to her credit.
